Get Fit for Summer

Cold sweats, increased blood pressure, anxiety... symptoms of the Swine Flu? No silly, it's bathing suit season! Does the thought of slipping into the oh-so-tiny pieces of barely-there nylon material send you into a panic? You are not alone my friend. Not only should you be thinking more whole grains, veggies and lean meat, you should be thinking burning and toning. In honor of the beloved summer I have some new tricks up my sleeve sure to burn even more calories while toning your bikini bod! So check out the dates and deals for May to the column on the right and come "Get Funky."

(FYI- Also be on the lookout for upcoming events as well as new class options...)

"You Say You Want a Revolution"-The Beatles

Call it a quarter life crisis, I don't know, but I do know I need a Revolution, of my own life. It's a pretty safe bet that most of us do.

Are you passionate about your career? Our passions should be our destiny. Our passions are the things we are meant to do. God created us to be happy. He did not create work to make us suffer. So why is it we all end up living with a lack-luster career? Fear. Fear of not making it. Fear of failing. Fear of standing out from the crowd.

So it's time to start a REVOLUTION. But a revolution can not be accomplished alone. We must come together for support and inspiration. So throw me a comment, email, however you want to do it. The first step is to share your goals. If you say it then it holds accountability. We can walk through each trial, success, and final elation together! "But what about you, Katie?" My dream is to own a fitness dance studio. My first step? I cleaned out my garage and opened it to the public to come dance and get fit! But that's only the first step... I have many many more to go.
Maybe your Revolution has already begun. Maybe you are taking classes. Maybe you quit your job to become an entreprenuer! Give me your stories.

It's completely nerve-wracking I know. But don't forget "it's gonna be all right."
